Individual Competition Winners

1. April 2023 – Solid Fuel Bundle

• Entry Period: 1st – 30th April 2023
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: Bundle includes 1 x 20kg Coal, 1 x Kiln Dried Log Bag and 1 x Waxies or 1 x Kindling.
• Winner: Sean Fagan, Dublin (Announced in May 2023)

2. June 2023 – Solid Fuel Bundle

• Entry Period: 1st – 30th June 2023
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: Bundle includes 1 x 20kg Coal, 1 x Kiln Dried Log Bag and 1 x Waxies or 1 x Kindling.
• Winner: Joan Merrigan-Devlin, Dublin (Announced in July 2023)

3. August 2023 – Solid Fuel Bundle

• Entry Period: 1st – 31st August 2023
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: Bundle includes 1 x 20kg Coal, 1 x Kiln Dried Log Bag and 1 x Waxies or 1 x Kindling.
• Winner: Gordon and Helena Gray (Announced in September 2023)

4. October 2023 – 10 Year Anniversary Competition

• Entry Period: 1st – 31st October 2023
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: €210 prize includes 1 x 100kg Mixed Hardwood Logs, 5 x 20kg Coal, 1 x Waxies, 1 x 25L Bag of Kiln Dried Logs and 1 x Kindling.
• Winner: Carol Hughes (Announced in November 2023)

5. December 2023 – Christmas Crate Competition

• Entry Period: 1st – 31st December 2023
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: Prize includes 1 x Crate of Kiln Dried Logs, either Ash, Oak or Birch. Includes free delivery.
• Winner: Rachel Duffy (Announced in January 2024)

6. February 2024 – Solid Fuel Bundle

• Entry Period: 1st – 29th February 2024
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: Bundle includes 1 x 20kg Coal, 1 x Kiln Dried Log Bag and 1 x Waxies or 1 x Kindling.
• Winner: Derek Tapley (Announced in March 2024)

7. March / April 2024 – Easter Bunny Competition

• Entry Period: 25th March – 12th April 2024
• Entry Requirements: All customers that like the competition post and our Facebook page will be entered
• Competition Prize: Prize includes 1 x Crate of Kiln Dried Logs, either Ash, Oak or Birch. Includes free delivery.
• Winner: Niall O’Brien (Announced in May 2024)

Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility: The competition is open to legal residents of Ireland who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Boyle’s Solid Fuels, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings, and their respective spouses) are not eligible to enter.
2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the entrant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules and the decisions of Boyle’s Solid Fuels, which are final and binding in all matters related to the competition.
3. Entry Period: The competition will run throughout the (“Entry Period”) of each competition. All entries must be received during the Entry Period.
4. How to Enter: To enter the competition, the entrant must complete the (“Entry Requirements”) of each competition. Entrants may only submit one entry per person. Any attempts by an entrant to submit more than one entry will result in disqualification.
5. Prize: The (“Competition Prize”) is set out below for each competition. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution will be made except as provided herein at Boyle’s Solid Fuels’ sole discretion. Boyle’s Solid Fuels reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. All prizes must be collected from Sancta Maria, Enniskerry Road, Kilternan, D18 P973.
6. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The winner will be notified within one week of the end of the competition Entry Period. Boyle’s Solid Fuels shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by a potential winner for any reason.
7. Winner Verification: The potential winner must accept the prize within one week of the announcement. If the potential winner fails to accept the prize within one week, an alternate entrant may be selected in their place at random from all eligible entries received.
8. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the competition constitutes the winner’s consent to Boyle’s Solid Fuels’ use of the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and hometown for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
9. Limitations of Liability: By participating in the competition, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Boyle’s Solid Fuels, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the competition or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited.
10. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the competition is impaired in any way, Boyle’s Solid Fuels may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the competition to address the impairment and then resume the competition in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these rules; or (b) cancel the competition and award the prize from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Boyle’s Solid Fuels reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the operation of the competition, violates these rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
